Personal Description: I am a happily married thirty five year old mother of a little boy. I enjoy reading, writing and am a published poet, walking and spending time with my family and friends.

Tutoring Experience: I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with experience in all age ranges from Reception to Year Six, however, my specialism is KS 2. I have been teaching for ten years in the Primary setting and have worked in a variety of schools in both urban and rural settings. I have a wide range of experience teaching all abilities including Special Educational needs such as ADHD and Dyslexia.
My degree is in the Humanities, English, Religious Education and History, however, it is a Batchelor of Education so offers a broad spectrum approach to all Primary subjects.
I was also subject leader of Literacy, Modern Foreign Languages and Child Protection in my last teaching post.

Tutoring Approach: I am a firm but fair person and adopt this style in my tutoring. I am very open and happy to work on specific areas as well as complete overall Primary assessments. For adults wishing to improve their English I am certainly very approachable and enjoy working with people to help them achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

• B'Ed Degree 2:2 in English Literature, Religios Education & History.
• I have completed a wide variety of professional development courses.
