Personal Description: My name is Vera , I am Lebanese/Australian and I am a native speaker of Arabic & French. I am also fluent in English.

I have a Bachelors Degree in General Law (in Arabic & French) and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Public Law (in Arabic & French) both from the L’Université Libanaise – one of the top three universities in Lebanon.

My Masters degree allows me to teach at university level in Lebanon.

Tutoring Experience: I have started to give private lessons since 2003.
I have extensive experience teaching Arabic (as a first language) to primary, Brevet and Baccalauréat students in Lebanon. I gained this experience by giving private lessons and in my role as a support teacher at a primary school in North Lebanon.

I have experience in giving private Arabic (as a second language) lessons to primary, GCSE and A-Level students and professionals in London (Amnesty International, The Guardian & Observer, Societe **Web Address Removed** Morgan … ) .

I have given French private lessons in Lebanon at primary, Brevet and Baccalauréat level and in London to primary, GCSE, A-Level and university students.

My teaching experience also includes giving private lessons in Arabic and French to first year Law students.

Furthermore, I have experience in translating Arabic to English, English to Arabic, French to Arabic and Arabic to French.

Tutoring Approach: My different teaching experiences have taught me to manage my time both in following set curriculums and in meeting the needs of the different students that I teach. I can also adapt my teaching style to different age groups and am able to develop students’ knowledge of Arabic and French dialects, idioms and culture.
