I myself only tutor in science Chemistry at A'level and all three sciences at GCSE. I believe that one should only tutor an area which they've mastered.

My previous students have achieved excellent results. Two recent students have gone from U > A in AS Chemistry and D > A in Core Science GCSE (however to be frank and honest i'm not a miracle worker such results can only be attained if the students match the amount of effort I put into the sessions)

I offer a free initial assessment to determine the level of the student and demonstrate how I can help them. First Lesson is at a reduced cost.

I only take on a limited number of private students, typically 5 a year.

Prices :

One to One Science tuition (GCSE)
£20 for first lesson then £30 per hour

A level Chemistry
£20 for first lesson then
£30 per hour for AS Chemistry
or £35 per hour for A2 Chemistry

Tutoring Approach

I use a variety of approaches, but generally arrange a discussion with both student and parent to discuss the need of the student and if applicable give a short test to gain a general overview in that particular area.

Following an initial assessment a tuition plan will be discussed.
