Personal Description: Well hello there. My name is Tanjira, you can also call me tantan! I have just finished my first year of college and completed my AS levels in religious studies, mathematics, biology and chemistry, and I am hoping to carry on next year completing my Alevels in Maths, chemistry and biology. Due to my very keen interest in the sciences i specifically chose to study these at Alevels. I am a very hard working and conscientious individual and most importantly i am realistic about the commitment required to acheive top grades!

Tutoring Experience: I have gained alot of experience within the past of tutoring and mentoing children. I have tutored schince and maths to children in a primary school, from where i had positive feedback from.
I have also mentored challenging children aged 13-16, from which i gained alot of work based skills. Although the mentoring was quite challenging, i managed to pass the course, and also gain excellent feedback from them.

Tutoring Approach: Firstly I would like to find out exactly the syllabus for their course so I can focus on the specification and prepare my own notes accordingly. Then I would wish to establish the stage the student has reached and find out where they are having problems. They might be struggling with just a few sections or do they require help over the entire syllabus. The approach would vary with each student to fit their needs. I do use past paper questions frequently to aid teaching, I find these are very useful for highligting how knowledge should be applied and with what sections of the syallbus are commonly linked together in questions.
