Personal Description: Hello, I am Shazia. I thrive with enthusiasm to teach young child who are always eager to learn. I am passionate about passing on knowledge and experiences, and preparing children for their future path. My friendly, cheerful and understanding characteristics will prove to you that I am an effective tutor.

Tutoring Experience: I have seven years experience of working with primary school children in a range of contexts (eg childminding, Bradford study support network, after school clubs and holiday clubs). I have been teaching for the past three years as a fully qualified teacher in both Key stage 1 and 2. I have some experience of teaching in Foundation stage.

- teaching all primary school subjects
- EAL children (from Eastern Europe background)
- SEN (for example autism)
- Booster sessions
- Preparing children for exam entrances

I set out an arranged study plan with the child and parent. This is regularly updated so the children can see the targets they have met and parents gain feedback on progress.

Tutoring Approach: Initial stage is to assess the child so that I can identify clear and simple targets for the pupil to aim. These will be set as short and long term targets, along side what I will be teaching and success criteria. Planning will be regularly reviewed to ensure the needs of the child are achieved. Most importantly I take into consideration the teaching approaches I employ to inspire the child with the desire to learn. So the child is learning through experience of creative fun and enjoyment.
