Personal Description: I am a 25 year old Primary school teacher, located in Nottingham, who has a calm approach to teaching. I have a passion for teaching children regardless of their ability. I am friendly and enthusiastic about ensuring children reach their full potential. I have a good understanding of the Primary curriculum from key stage 1 to key stage 2. I am willing to travel within the Nottingham area at weekends or weekday evenings. If there are any enquiries I would be happy to answer them.

Tutoring Experience: I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience of teaching across the two key stages. I am currently teaching in a large, successful primary school in Nottingham.

Tutoring Approach: Initially I like to assess where the child is currently at in order to ensure the progressive steps can be catered for for each specific child as oppose to catering according to the age related targets. After this has been done I will work in a number of ways, depending on what engages the child. I create my own resources to ensure the learning is personalised towards the child and will do this using my own laptop or other resources that I have created. I am reliable, organised, punctual and very adaptable.

Qualifications:

• 2009: B'Ed (Hons) Primary Education - University of Derby (Bachelors)
• 2004: A-Levels in Mathematics, Business Studies and History - Greenwood Dale 6th form (College)
• 2002: GCSE's in English literature, English Language, Mathematics, double Science, History, Business Studies, Statistics and Graphic design - Greenwood Dale (School)
