Personal Description: My peers as well as casual observers would consider me to be reliable, hard working, dedicated and efficient with my work load. I am someone who is known for going that extra mile in order to achieve my objective.

Behind me I have knowledge and experience within the field of education that has allowed me over the years to build on my existing portfolio of skills, hence reinforcing an underlying desire to pursue teaching on a one to one capacity. Beyond that I am passionate in my pursuit of teaching and transferring knowledge to those seeking it.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught English at KS3 and KS4 at a secondary independent girl’s school for 2 years and have 4 years worth of tutoring experience. I have worked with pupils from varying backgrounds and of differing ability groups so I'm able to understand the needs of my pupils depending on their level of requirement.

Tutoring Approach: I take a very patient step by step approach to tutoring often checking to see information is understood at the most basic level before going into depth. I make sure that my pupils interpret information precisely as well as develop some fluency in their writing style.

I am able to tailor teaching to the preferred learning style(s) of my pupil’s through a choice of approaches in order for effective learning to take place. I believe in achieving results through reinforcing difficult information and then checking for understanding through questioning and various forms of assessments.

I'm a firm believer that hard work goes a long way to uncovering the potential of my students and achieving results.

Qualifications:

• BA (Hons) Business Management
• 11 GCSEs all A-Cs including Maths, English and Science.
• 3 A' levels between grades A - C
