Strong Maths abilities is something I have always possessed and can be seen through my qualifications from GCSE right through to degree level. As a retail merchandiser, I also have the benefit of working in an industry which requires strong mathematical skills daily as well as giving me regular access to training and coaching skills.
I am available evenings after 7 or weekends within the Solihull area all year round.
Through A level I tutored younger pupils within my school in Maths.
More recently, I am used to managing the training and coaching of team members in my current industry strengthening their maths and communication skills as well as teaching them ways to prioritise, focus and get results, all of which are extremely relevant to studying.
My methods are through very flexible, 1 on 1 sessions. I am a strong believer in understanding how the tutee learns best in order to get the results.
I begin by informally assessing ability levels to identify areas to focus on.
I like to keep it fun and interesting as children, teenagers and adults alike are much more likely to retain knowledge this way!
Help with homework via email also an option.
