Personal Description: I am a Leaning and Study skills Trainer and am passionate about what I do, probably because of my own experience. My twin brother and I were raised by a single parent and my mother, bless her, did her best to help us with our school work. I was a typical rote learner in school and did everything at the last minute; time management and planning were not part of my vocabulary. I didn’t know how to make my learning easier, creative or fun. As a consequence, learning was pretty much a bore and I endured endless nights of unnecessary stress, swotting for tests and exams. Needless to say I scraped through and graduated, with relief, from high school.
Learning is a habit and applying good habits can help us in school, studies and work. I am constantly learning through teaching these skills to learners from the ages of 10 to adults.

I have a fun and outgoing personality, but can also be serious at times.

Tutoring Experience: I’ve been teaching Advanced Learning Skills Courses to learners of mixed abilities for 6 years. The topics I cover are Progressive Self-Management Skills, Advanced Study and Thinking Skills, Communication Skills and Advanced Reading Skills. Please note: I can offer tuition on-line.
