Personal Description: My name is Robin, I am 22 years old, and I have just graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in politics and history. I am hoping to pursue a career in journalism and so I spend a lot of time writing about issues which interest me. I am hoping to start a journalism course in London in March 2010; until then I am hoping to gain some more work experience in journalism. Other than journalism I have a great interest in sport, music, films and current affairs. You will find me to be a pleasant, easy going, and approachable person.

Tutoring Experience: Whilst I have not undertaken any academic tutoring, I spent part of my GAP year coaching crick**Telephone Number Removed** year olds at my old school in Cambridge. I like to think that I am able to effectively plan and execute a teaching session from which the pupils will benefit. I hope to be able to apply those skills learned in an acadmemic environment.

Tutoring Approach: I am very conscious that different people learn in different ways and at different speeds. With that in mind, I am very adaptable when it comes to my methods. I will try and adopt the method which I believe best suits the tutee. As mentiond above, I am a very easy going and approachable person and I take great pride in making sure that a job is done properly.

Qualifications:

• I have a degree in politics and history as well as having achieved an A grade in History at A Level.
