Information About Rahul

Personal Description: I am an MSc student at the University of Northampton doing my masters degree in Business Computing. I have a very strong interest in teaching and I do understand the need of a private tutor from the student point of view.

One of the biggest advantages of private tutoring is the one to one communication and clarifications plus giving full concentration to improve a student's weakness on a particular subject or lesson.

Tutoring Experience: During my bachelors degree at Aston University in Birmingham, I participated with Active Community Engagement (ACE) where I taught music and dance skills to primary school children in Birmingham. This was voluntary work.

I have also given private tutions in India on subjects like primary and secondary mathematics, chemistry and ICT.

My qualifications are as follows -

1. Currently studying my MSc degree in Business Computing at the University of Northampton.
2. Graduated in BSc Computer Science from Aston University in Birmingham during 2006 scoring a 2:1.
3. Good working experience in IT and Computer programming around the world in **Web Address Removed** and India.
4. Did my A-levels and GCSE from India with a score of 74% and 70% respectively. Excellent results in Mathematics, English and Science.
5. Strong Communication skills including both oral and written. Fluent in English and Hindi. Plus also some knowledge of French.
6. Good Time Management skills and self motivation to achieve goals.

Tutoring Approach: I think its very important to know a student's weakness first and attack that. For example, if a student is weak with multiplication in Mathematics then its important to teach that from start and then go on building up from simple to complex exercises to strengthen his or her skills.

Being a student myself, I understand how much a student can grasp and what techniques to use to make things more simple for him or her to learn. I would also like to test those skills time to time, so that the student is in touch with them and makes a good progress. It also gives an insight on how much the student has learnt so far and how much he or she stills needs to go forward on a particular lesson.

I am very friendly and easy going and my aim will be to see a good progress on a student's report card.

Willing to tutor anywhere in Northampton and surrounding areas!!
