Personal Description: I was a computing professional for 15 years before having children. Once my children were of school age I studied for a PGCE in Maths at Bristol University. Subsequently we moved to Yorkshire.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught maths in secondary schools, 6th Form College & privately for 15 years.

Tutoring Approach: As a tutor I assess the grounding a pupil has acquired in the subject and we address any deficiencies. I combine this process with practice on exam questions, and I continuously assess the understanding of the pupil. My strategy is to enjoy the process of working together to achieve success.

• 1989: MSc - City University London (Masters)
• 1987: Member - British Computer Society (Professional)
