Personal Description: I originally trained as a lawyer and practiced as a solicitor for 5 years before making the change to primary teaching in 2008. I recently successfully completed my first year in teaching at St. Joseph's Primary School in Kelty. I am hard working and conscientious and have been commended for my communication skills, my determination and my manner with the children. I enjoy tennis, reading and Doctor Who!
Tutoring Experience: During my course, I had placements across the range of stages in Primary at different Schools across Fife, including Torryburn, Townhill and Carleton in Glenrothes. Most recently, I have fully qualified as a Primary Teacher after successfully teaching a Primary 2 class for the **Telephone Number Removed** academic year at St Joseph's Primary School.
Tutoring Approach: The reason I changed career is that I want to make a difference. I feel that my own skills lend themselves particularly to teaching and I consider it the greatest satisfaction and responsibility to help a child develop and progress in their education and achieve their potential.
