Tutoring Experience: Over 5 years of teaching duties at university working with 1st to 4th year students (lecturing, tuition and practicals)
Tutoring Approach: The approach is different depending on the student level and personality.
Mainly, I use the power of example to show the student how to solve a problem.
I challenge advaced students with a broad diversity of problems (quick quiz or harder analytical examples).
For low level students I try build their self confidence, starting with simple examples.
If dealing with larger groups of students (e.g 20 students), as is the case at university level, I splitt the students in small working groups (e. g. 2-3/group) and work with each grop at least 2 times / hour.
