I have eight years of experience as a qualified Maths teacher and have taught students aged 11-18 in comprehensive school settings and an international school setting.
I am also an examiner for Edexcel.
I have also held the role of Principal Design Lead, responsible for the creation and continued improvement of the GCSE Mathematics Mastery pilot programme.
I have prepared students to sit GCSE Mathematics, A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics qualifications, as well as to sit International Baccalaureate Middle Years (KS3-4) and Diploma (KS5) Programmes. I have held leadership positions as KS3 Leader in Mathematics, Mathematics Enrichment Coordinator and Second in Department.
I completed a PGCE at Oxford University and was the recipient of a teacher training scholarship from the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. This recognises teachers with an excellent understanding of mathematics and the ability to explain mathematical concepts at school level.
I hold a Maths degree and Masters in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
