Personal Description: Having just finished reading for my BA in Philosophy, I will be going on to study for a graduate diploma in law at the College of Law. I have had varied work experiences in which I developed relationships with people of all ages.

In my spare time I like to visit the theater, practice ballroom dancing and read.

I live in Windsor and will be studying in London (central) and am willing to tutor in both areas.

Tutoring Experience: To date I have provided support to an adult on an access to learning course with an English module. This included finding material, helping with analysis and providing guidelines for a presentation. I also provided help for a pupil with an English Literature GCSE who went on to achieve an A grade.

Tutoring Approach: My expertise is in philosophy and religious studies as this was what I studied during my undergraduate degree. My strong points are ethical and political philosophy but I performed well across all modules. I am knowledgeable around most major religions studied in the current courses and know my way round the bible and Qur'an.

I am also keen to help people with English and Theater Studies. I have studied many of Shakespeare's plays and am willing to read any modern novel students are currently studying. My strengths lie in critical analysis of texts as well as looking at the structure of the language, metaphors and analogies. This applies to poetry modules which cover all movements of poetic style.

During my academic career I have always seen the benefit of having tutors, providing that extra one-on-one time and being able to ask questions which you are to embarrassed to ask in front of peers. I am personable, empathetic and get along with people of all ages! I am happy to discuss the style of tuition needed and whether or not I need to bring notes. I can provide help with coursework throughout the year as well as any additional support during the revision periods.
