Personal Description: I am a French native speaker, and I have been living in Bristol for the past 5 years. I currently work at Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) during the day, but I still enjoy giving private tuitions in the evenings, as I used to be a language teacher when I first moved to the UK, and previously when I was leaving in France, teaching English
I have always liked working with children, and I am also considering going back to teaching full time in the future.
I don't have a means of transport and therefore will be willing to travel within reasonable distance.
Tutoring Experience: I have a PGCE in Modern Languages from The University of Bristol, and I have taught in the UK for 2 years before joining Ofsted.
I have taught all year groups, from primary to adult learning. I am currently giving private tuitions to a group of adults.
As I am familiar with the National Curriculum, I understand the needs of the students and I tailor my lessons according to these needs.
Tutoring Approach: My lessons are tailored to individual needs — general French, holiday French, business French, help with exam preparation, beginners' French, advanced conversation.
I aim to create a fun, supportive environment where my students can be happy, confident and keen to learn. I am committed to the delivery of high standards as well as ensuring that each individual, whatever their ability, achieves their maximum potential.
