Personal Description: I am a medical student at Queen`s University Belfast having previously completed a degree in Biomedical Science. I teach music to all age groups in piano, violin and music theory from beginner to intermediate. I teach up to and including GCSE maths and biology and also teach English for the transfer test from primary to secondary school. For music tuition I prefer the students to come to my home. I have a piano and all my music books are at my home so it is easier if a student can travel to me. For maths, science and transfer test tuition I can travel to the student or the student can travel to me.

Tutoring Experience: I have been tutoring for the past three years. At the minute I have nine music students and three students for maths and the transfer test.

Tutoring Approach: I use the first tutoring session to determine the standard of the student and where he or she is having difficulty. When teaching music I work out what the students' intentions are with regards to exams and if they have a time scale for completing grades. This allows both the student and I to plan the lessons to suit their needs.
