Information About Natalie

Personal Description: I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working with children. I am looking to help any pupil who is in need of extra tuition in order to succeed in chemistry.

Tutoring Experience: I am in my 3rd year of teaching and have taught chemistry at Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Standard Grade and Higher.

Tutoring Approach: I have a huge variety of resources available for my pupils. I tend to tutor by focusing on the areas the pupil feels they need the most help. I engage in questioning the pupil on current knowledge then try to build on that. I also use powerpoints, diagrams and past paper questions to help develop their knowledge further. I also supply pupils with additional notes.

Qualifications:
  • BSc Biochemistry
  • PGDE Secondary in Chemistry and Biology

Availability: Weekends / Weekdays (evenings)

From Lynda (4/5): (A-Level Chemistry) Quite early to comment but everything looks very positive. Natalie is bright, cheery, always on time and seems to be getting my son well organised. She is very encouraging towards him. She listens carefully to what he/we are looking for, will work to supply that and will suggest a plan of campaign. So far, so very good!
