Personal Description: I am Spanish and currently I am working in a secondary school in London, teaching Spanish to a small group of students. I use a number of resources such as a textbook, webpages, classwork made by myself and games to complement my teaching. I also help students with difficulties in learning.

Obviously I do know and enjoy the Spanish culture as well as Spanish music, literature and sports.

Tutoring Experience: Apart from my experience in the secondary school, at the moment I am already providing Spanish lessons on a one-to-one basis. In Spain I have also given Spanish tuition for foreigners, which makes me aware of the difficulties that English people might find in learning Spanish.
All these experiences have being really rewarding to me, having obtained the recognition of my students.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to teaching students consists of the following steps:

• To establish a good atmosphere between the student and myself. It is important that the student is relaxed and at ease during the lesson.

• To identify the level that the student has already reached and his/her difficulties.

• To plan the lesson, defining an objective at the beginning. I will keep referring to this objective until the end of the lesson. For planning, I may take five minutes before the lesson begins, as I find it really contributes to successful and effective teaching. You will not have to pay for this time.

• To keep a continuous interaction with the student during the whole lesson.

• To make dynamic lessons, so they are enjoyable for both the student and myself. This is really important to help the student attain their full potential.

• To set lesson-work or homework (according the preference of the student) so that the student can assimilate the new concepts and I can assess his/her learning.
