Personal Description: Bonjour!

I am a French/psycholoy student at the University of Glasgow and graduate in French next year. Having lived in Paris and Bordeaux, my fluency of French has enabled me to tutor back in Scotland. I have studied French for 6 years, and am very passionate about this beautiful language.

I am responsible and loyal, and have worked helping children and adults in the past, with the requirement of a Disclosure Scotland certificate.

Willing to travel.

Tutoring Experience: I am currently tutoring French, and have done a "paired reading" project a couple of years ago, in which I helped 1st and 2nd year high school students with their reading. During my time in Paris, I also helped to run therapy projects for adults with learning difficulties, including art therapy and co-operation based projects. Additionally, I used to run a youth group which focussed on improving social and creative skills.

Tutoring Approach: Upon the first meeting with the student, a list of the student's learning priorities and preferences should be made in order to ensure a comfortable structure and learning environment to help produce the best results.
With this information, I will prepare notes, type them up to give to the student, as well as giving them exercises to reiterate what they have learned during the session.
The most important thing is that the student is comfortable and gaining the most they can from the sessions.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Higher French, worked in France by which I gained fluency, and currenlty doing a degree in French in Glasgow.
