Personal Description: I am a student currently at the University of Brighton undertaking a degree in International Business and French. I lived and studied in France for 2 and a half years, meaning I have a high level of French, and also lived in Singapore for 6 months. I am ambitious, self- motivated and hardworking. I am friendly and am able to get on well with people from all backgrounds.

Tutoring Experience: Whilst at University, I have often helped other students during exam periods, and have helped proof-read and correct foreign students coursework. I have also helped my younger sister who is dyslexic with schoolwork, which has helped me to learn how different people learn and understand information.

Tutoring Approach: After assessing a student's needs and weaknesses in a particular study area, I would then find out how the student best learns (i.e through talking through the subject, or making diagrams), and then use this information in the study sessions. I am firm and can be strict with others, as I am with myself, and have high, but not unreasonable expectations. I am creative in explaining difficult areas, and am able to use more than one method to help a student understand a point.
