Personal Description: I have over twenty years teaching experience and I run The **Contact Detail Removed** Centre, Erith which provides tuition in reading, writing, spelling and maths. I specialise in helping children who are having difficulty with their school work and those who simply want to achieve better results. The Centre has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. all staff are CRB checked, so you can be rest assured that your child is in professional and safe environment. The Centre is easily reached. it's within two to five minutes walk from bus routes 180 and 401 and ten minute walk from Belvedere railway station. There is ample, free parking outside the building.

We aim to make our children confident, independent students who enjoy the experience of learning. Children come for a variety of reasons: because they’re struggling at school and need additional support, because they need extension activities to stretch them or because they’re preparing for entrance tests or examinations.
Children come along for an initial FREE assessment to find out their strengths and weaknesses and we discuss the results with you immediately. We then create a personal programme of work to target the needs of each child. We monitor progress carefully, moving children on when they are ready or providing additional support if required. Children are taught in groups of no more than four to a teacher and each student receives individual tuition.
We employ a multi-sensory approach, using written tasks and interactive computer programmes to provide as wide a range of learning activities as possible. Individualised tutor input and support is central to everything we provide at our centre. Students are encouraged to ask questions and to feel secure enough to attempt something they perhaps find difficult. They are not in competition with one other and are rewarded for their own achievements CRB.
