Personal Description: I am an enthusiastic and dedicated (fully qualified) primary school teacher who has a passion for teaching and learning, and who has high expectations of all her pupils.

Tutoring Experience: I have had experience of teaching years R 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5 and 6, and am currently teaching a year 3 class in the Wisborough Green area. I have the necessary skills to help children succeed, and was graded by HMI / OFSTED in 2009 as 'consistently outstanding' . I have had the valuable opportunity to train and qualify as a Reading Recovery Teacher. During this year I have given individualised teaching to children who are the lowest literacy achievers. It has been a fast moving, exciting year of teaching for me. I have learnt a great deal and the children I have worked with have made tremendous progress. All the children I have taught have made accelerated progress and have returned back into the classroom at above average levels.

Tutoring Approach: My teaching methods depend on the individual skills of every child. My lessons are always fun and interesting. I like to take a very 'hands on' approach to tutoring and give children the chance to 'do' as much as possible.

Qualifications:

• I was awarded qualified teacher status from Anglia Polytechnic University in 2003
• I Qualified as a Reading Recovery teacher in 2010.
