Personal Description: Having retired early from Public Health Nursing, and since my school days, I have worked with people from all walks of life and ethnic groups. I can communicate well with people from other language groups, even though they may not have much English. Recently I was employed in Glasgow, delivering a health service to Asylum Seekers with young children.

Tutoring Experience: I have successfully tutored a young bilingual schoolgirl to become a successful reader. She is now a confident reader, and is consistently doing well in spelling tests at school.
For many years, I have been involved in children's clubs, and have followed a syllabus, using games and imaginative presentation to engage children in an entertaining educational environment.

Tutoring Approach: I aim to deliver student-centred teaching in a quiet and friendly manner. Each student would be treated as an individual, and his or her needs assessed during the first meeting. Sessions will be by arrangement.
