Personal Description: My name's James, I'm a fully qualified teacher of English with 2 years classroom teaching experience and an extensive background in one-to-one tuition. I've taught English from year 7 through to A-level as well as film studies to 6th form. I also have a significant amount of experience teaching English as a foreign language which I've taught both here in the UK as well as abroad.

Tutoring Experience: Last academic year (2010-2011) I tutored 5 students to GCSE, ranging from students in looked after care to those at independent schools. All either hit or exceeded target. I have testimonials and references from previous parents, carers and professionals who can verify the standards at which I work.

Tutoring Approach: I am a young teacher who aims to offer a fresh approach to tutoring, adapting material to make it as current, contemporary and relevant to students as possible. I enjoy working with students to create a tailor made learning plan for their individual needs, which addresses their requirements, interests and own unique learning style.
