Personal Description: I am originally from Scotland but now live in Exeter. I moved to Exeter to pursue a Masters degree which I have recently graduated from. My first degree was in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence which I graduated from in 2000 from the University of Edinburgh. Following 5 years working in Switzerland, I returned to the UK and undertook a second Bachelors degree in Theology at the University of Aberdeen. I completed this 4 year degree in 3 years and left with a 2:1 Honours degree. My most recent endeavour was a Master of Arts in Ethics, Religion and Society at the University of Exeter. I love my subjects and love to help others to get on well with them.

Tutoring Experience: I have spent much time during my last two degrees assisting with tutoring university level classes. As well as helping to teach a module at Exeter, I was a research assistant at Princeton University NJ for a period of time (remotely - I lived here at the time).

Tutoring Approach: Everyone has their own individual way of learning and so one approach is not always the best. I can promise you that I will do everything in my power to help you find a way to get your head around whatever aspect of work is currently evading your grasp. I will tailor lessons to suit you and ensure that all that must be learned is learned and also make certain that it is fun at the same time. Nothing in life should be boring - least of all learning something new!
