Personal Description: Hello, I am 23 and have just graduated at Aberdeen University and am currently completing my masters thesis at the Royal Aberdeen Sick Children's Hospital, after which I plan to conduct a phd looking at dyscalculia (disability in math ability). I love being constantly busy so when I'm not studying for uni or working I am out rock climbing, snowboarding or baking cupcakes covered in lashings of bright butter icing!
Tutoring Experience: I have been tutoring Higher math for the last 3 years and have a very high level of success with my previous students - with all of them reaching at least a B level and the majority achieving As.
Tutoring Approach: Prior to math tutoring I worked as a swimming teacher for 6 years with children of all ages and abilities and so I am able to individually tailor the approach I use when tutoring. I believe that patience and alternative examples are the best way for the pupil to achieve their goals, and quite often happily surpass them.
I am happy to teach at the pupil's home in the Cults, Bieldside, Miltimber, Culter and Mannofied areas; however outwith of these areas I would prefer that the student comes to my house in Cults.
