Personal Description: I am a French national but have lived in England for 18 years. I spend two months a year in France. I have attended universities both in France and in England. As well as being a native speaker, I am also a qualified teacher.

Tutoring Experience: I have taught French in secondary and primary schools. I have also worked in adult education. My students have ranged in age from 3 to 70+. I have taught both GCSE and A-level classes.

Tutoring Approach: I normally tailor my lessons to the student. We start by evaluating the student's skills and we then agree a program of study. All four skills are taught (listening, reading, writing and speaking). I try to work on the student's weaknesses. If necessary, I will teach grammar and/or, for more advanced students, literature. For more casual/ leisure learners, the emphasis will be on speaking skills.

Qualifications:

• PGCE in Modern Languages (Bath University)
• Licence (eq BA) in history
• Maitrise (eq MA) in History
• Native speaker
