Currently, a teacher in a leading Maths specialist school in Coventry; where l teach Maths from year 7 through to sixth form, a mentor to some year 11 students, and a year 11 tutor (pastoral)

I am loyal and dedicated to the teaching profession and would do anything to bring a smile on the face of students who crave to have Maths tuition with me. I may only consider students who do not live within my travel distance published on this website to be taught in my house or an additional charge may apply if l am to come to your house.

Tutoring Experience

I am a specialist Maths teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience in various schools (private & public) across England and some other international schools. I know how to teach to make Maths appealing to my students whilst they also see having fun. l have taught a lot of successful students and I have loads of experience with private tuition; assessing students learning, boosting students' confidence in Maths and improving performance as a whole.

I am a lead practitioner of Maths in my school, where I mentor and coach teachers to be outstanding teachers, create intervention strategies to support students who find Maths difficult and also stretch the gifted and talented students to make the sky their limit. I have won the most enviable award of the 'Most inspirational Teacher' for three consecutive years : am yearly award vote by only students in my school. Not sounding boastful, my strength in teaching mathematics is worth the experience of the tutee to testify.

I am a national Maths examiner too with loads of experience. With this experience, l know what examiners expect of candidates in examinations, especially with the rigorous demands of the new educational reforms.

Tutoring Approach

I teach each student as an individual per his or her needs and abilities in the subject matter.

I use a combination of approaches to teach Maths to appeal to my students. Building relationship with student is important as this will foster progress in both teaching and learning process. Students need to trust the tutor, feel at ease with him/ her and is comfortable, even if he or she make a make whilst learning. Periodically and consistently, l give my students a test to assess how much they have learnt.

I believe in working together with the student to achieve results. I encourage my students and boost their confidence. I will need the parents support too to all aspects of my teaching
