Personal Description: Driven by great enthusiasm for education, I aspire to make it my career. School commendations in Maths, French, Italian, History, English Language and English Literature, Science and Art demonstrate my motivation and commitment in diverse fields. The best part of this work for me is seeing the boost of confidence and self respect when students exceed all expectations on results day.

Tutoring Experience: During the summer of 2010 I worked as a tutor for Key Stages On Line (KSOL), which was excellent practice for focussing on the areas that particular students found tricky, as well as more in depth exploration of topics than normal classrooms. Experience as a teaching assistant for Franklin College English Department, from **Telephone Number Removed** til Sept 2008, has also given me invaluable skills and knowledge. The tasks of the job included appointments with individual students, for personalised discussion, targets and advice. Another important aspect was the marking of homework and draft coursework in accordance with the syllabus, with detailed feedback. With KSOL I also marked mock exams. I created worksheets, contributed to class discussions and gave guidance to small groups in class assignments.

Tutoring Approach: My style of teaching adapts to the learning style of the student. Objectives will be personalised to reflect the particular strengths and problems of each student. Spoon-feeding answers is always avoided in my approach, as it does not help nor make good students.
