I live in Coventry with my husband and son and have been a secondary Maths and Science teacher for 15years.
As Head of Science and Math I have extensive experience of teaching young people with a wide range abilities and SEN. I am available to tutor KS3 and GCSE Maths and Biology and am also able to offer Biology A level. I am a specialist exam assessor with 10 years experience of marking for two exam boards for GCSE and A level science which ensures that I maintain a current and in depth understanding of the requirements for successful revision and preparation for exams.
I am friendly and approachable and like to put people at ease to ensure that they feel confident enough to ask questions or ask for more support during the lesson if they need it.
Sessions are planned to the individual requirements of the tutee and I utilise a variety of resources including visual learning aids, current exam specifications and past exam papers, multi media and hands on approaches in science where possible. I am flexible regarding session days and times etc and will always try to accommodate any changes whenever necessary.
