Personal Description: My background is as a professionally qualified accountant working in Financial Services in York. I enjoy the range and challenge of work that's associated with a large, international company.

I maintain a keen interest in Business, since graduating in Economics in 1979, and have a particular interest in Business Strategy.

My interests include sport, travel, photography and art, combined with a love of my home county of North Yorkshire.

Tutoring Experience: My teaching experience began as a Postgraduate Research Student at King's College, Cambridge, teaching the undergraduates the basics of Economics.

Since then I have taught GCSE students, and currently am a Teaching Fellow to second year Business Studies students at York University.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to tutoring is to offer a committed and dedicated service, expect similar from the student, and hope some of my interest in the subject rubs off!

If required, I would set out an agreed teaching programme, to provide learning in a structured way.

I do understand about exam technique, and will help a student present their best efforts.
