Personal Description: I'm a 25 year old postgraduate student studying Medicine at Glasgow University, currently living in the West End of Glasgow. I graduated from Manchester University in 2008 with a 2:1 (Hons) in Biomedical Science and stayed on until 2009 to gain a Masters with Distinction. I wrote my Masters dissertation on novel markers for transfusion triggers and had my research published. I am now entering the third year of my medical degree. I have my own transport and can travel to your address to tutor. I have enhanced CRB disclosure and have worked with students from primary school to adult learning. On a personal note, I play rugby union for the medics team at Glasgow University and I also enjoy amateur boxing and skiing.

Tutoring Experience: I have tutored students in high school getting ready for Highers and Advanced Highers. I have excellent knowledge of the Higher and Advanced Higher curriculum and exam content. I have also tutored students in the first and second year of university as part of my Masters degree and part time work. I have also recently had great success preparing students for their finals exams at University.

Tutoring Approach: I like to tailor my tuition depending on the student's individual needs. I believe that the most successful students have confidence in themselves and their abilities and that a tutor can play a large part in developing this. I strive to help them enjoy their subject and develop not only during tuition but also in broader terms with regards to self directed learning.
