Personal Description: I am a 26 year old BA History (hons) graduate from The University of Liverpool and have been teaching full time for 2 years. I am a dedicated professional but also see the benefits in relaxing after work.

Tutoring Experience: I have teach Humanities for Key Stage 3 which involves separate lessons in History, Geography, Citizenship and Religious Studies. I also teach the upper school (GCSE) as well as A Level History. I also teach sports clubs after school and try to organise as many school trips as possible.

Tutoring Approach: I am a big advocate of hard work to make sure that success is achieved however I tailor my teaching to the specific needs and work styles of each student. I will assess the needs of the student, find out how they like to work and with what activities and tailor the work as necessary. I also feel that with a subject like Humanities, having practical and varied ways of learning can bring the subject to life; making it much more interesting.

• 2006: BA History (Hons), 3 A levels: History, Psychology and English Literature, 2 AS levels: Art and Ceramics - Liverpool University (Bachelors)
• 2003: 10 GCSE grades all grade A-B - Charters School (School)
