Personal Description: A very passionate and enthusiastic teacher with a very good sense of humour. I am very patient, understanding and empathetic and can fully understand the difficulties students face and have a wealth of strategies to help them overcome them. I have a rich bank of resources for students to practice and consolidate knowledge and well capable of offering constructive feedback on how students are progressing and what they need to do to improve even further.

Tutoring Experience: A fully qualified, CRB checked, skilled Mathematics teacher with over 6 years teaching and 8 years tutoring experience. Assistant subject leader for Maths responsible for teaching and learning in my former school, Now KS3 coordinator in current school. Rich experience in tutoring groups of students all over the country. Experienced at tutoring students for GCSE and A level exams with very high success rates.

Tutoring Approach: Modelling using ICT, where necessary, to bring difficult concepts to life. Questioning and probing to encourage students to appreciate the scope of the problem, fully understanding and being able to apply it in even unfamiliar contexts. I offer rich notes with numerous examples and mistakes to avoid. Continuous assessment is used to moniitor progress and provide additional support in weak areas.
