Annie is an excellent French teacher. She is a native French speaker and has a degree in French. She knows the language inside out and is very good at explaining it. She is patient and takes the time to make sure I understand each concept. I am very happy with her lessons and I highly recommend Annie to anyone who wants to learn French.

Excellent tutor, helped my daughter achieve A in National 5 French

Annie has been helping my daughter with her Advanced Higher French practical (speaking) exam and has worked above and beyond with additional hours of support to help her build the confidence that she needed for her exam. I have no doubt that this has been of huge benefit to my daughter.

In our experience, since working with Annie over the last 3 weeks, Annie is a great and flexible teacher. She is absolutely dedicated to her students and has gone above and beyond to help our daughter. Outside of class time, she has corrected our daughter's work to enable her to study from it for Higher, and has made voice recordings to help her with her pronunciation and memory. Our daughter already feels much better equipped and more confident and we just wish we had contacted Annie sooner. Annie has also been flexible and arranged classes during the holidays to suit us, when she was able. She is happy to do remote or in person learning and is clearly passionate about the French language and about teaching. Thank you so much Annie!

Annie is a great tutor. She is very helpful and gives me more than I could of imagined. Each lesson is followed by all the vocabulary we use and a spoken audio message to accompany the vocabulary. She is also very easy to talk with and we have had interesting conversations off piste as well as on topic!

I cant recommend Annie highly enough. She goes into the history of the words and language which helps you understand and appreciate it even more. She also uses your everyday life to help construct sentences and speech patterns which are relevent to you which in turn makes it easier to get to grips with the language. 5/5 from me.

Annie is extremely helpful and reliable and her lessons are very well focused. She has been consistently excellent.

Annie made an error as to her availability. Having first accepted my request she withdrew as she was not able to offer tuition at the times I had asked for. I modified my request to try to suit but an accommodation was not available.

I can not recommend Annie highly enough! Very enthusiastic at every lesson and does so much extra work beyond the 1 hour tuition eg marking homework etc. Her passion for language learning is palpable. Very impressed.

I’ve had Annie as my French tutor for over a year now, and can wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone needing help with exams or for learning the language at their leisure.

I previously spent a year learning French at university as an additional course on my degree plan, and without Annie I would’ve had real trouble understanding specific aspects of the language. Unlike typical class teaching, Annie really explains structures within the language which helped me understand the basis of sentence formation, which then makes the other parts easier to understand. Her patience, approachability and passion for language learning has made me feel comfortable and is helping me ever increase my confidence in written and spoken French.

I was only meant to have Annie as a tutor for my university French exam, however, due to my love for the lessons and the language, I now regularly meet with Annie as I continue learning French as a pastime alongside studying. To conclude, I would highly recommend Annie if you are looking for high quality, fun and authentic French tuition.

Very friendly, engaging and intuitive! If I could rate Annie higher I would. Super dynamic teaching that immerses your brain and a genuinely fun personality that creates a comfortable learning environment. Also extremely convenient as Annie travelled from the west end to the Southside to meet!

Clear grasp of French grammar and how to communicate it to students. Lots of teaching experience and spots individual learning needs quickly, and has structured approach to addressing these.

We have found Annie to be an excellent tutor for my son, she is dedicated to her work, freindly and full of enthusiasm.
This has very much helped our son with his Higher French. He now feels a lot more confident in doing this subject.
