Personal Description: I have graduated with a 2:1 grade in English Language and Media and Communication Studies, and I am also currently completing a Master's degree. I have recently qualified as an English teacher at a very good school in the South Birmingham area.
I am an easy going person who knows what it's like to fall behind. It is from this personal experience that I believe I am successful in the field of teaching, especially to those who need extra help in their studies.

Tutoring Experience: I have worked voluntary as a teaching assistant in an English classroom, successfully completed my SAS placement and I currently work as a supply teacher in numerous schools around the South Birmingham area. The next academic year will see me complete my teacher training.

Tutoring Approach: Firstly, I like to meet with a tutee to discuss the level that they are working on, and their aim grade or objective (i.e. understanding grammar etc).
From then, I like to meet the tutee at least once a week in order to give them private tuition and set work for them. The work set will allow me to assess the progress of the tutee each week, and thus, help me plan work for them that is specific to their needs rather than set the same work for each pupil.

Pupils are allowed to contact me whenever they need help. I am an extremely understanding individual.

• 2009: BA Honours English Language and Media and Communication - Studies 2:1 - UoW (Bachelors)
