Personal Description: I am working as a teaching assistant specializing in mathematics at a local comprehensive school and have been doing this now for 14 years. I wish to retire and to do some maths tuition in my spare time as I enjoy working with people particularly children and I love maths! I am a mother of four children, who are now adult, so I have a lot of experience with children of all ages apart from my work.

Tutoring Experience: 14 years as a teaching assistant at a local comprehensive school, prior to this I worked in primary schools as a teaching assistant, so I have experience working with all ages. I went to teacher training college on leaving school for 2 years so experienced teaching practice in schools in Birmingham.

Tutoring Approach: I am a very calm, patient person and treat every child or adult as an individual and will look after their needs. I will aim to make their learning fun and interesting, but remain on task to obtain the best results possible with that individual.

Qualifications:

• 9 GCE's including mathematics and pure mathematics with theoretical mechanics. Open University foundation maths
