Hi guys and girls! My name is Alberto, I am a nice easy-going native Spanish speaker from Salamanca a breathtaking city nestled in the heart of western Spain. If you ever get the opportunity, I highly recommend visiting—it’s truly stunning!
I spent my childhood in the picturesque town of “Béjar,” situated 70 km south of Salamanca, surrounded by stunning mountains. All my family is from, and resides there, making it a place of great significance to me. I return to Béjar at least twice a year—it’s like an anchor, grounding me in my roots.
At the age of 18, I relocated to Salamanca to pursue a degree in Agricultural Engineering. Upon completing my studies, I decided to spend a year in Manchester to improve my English skills… and here I am, 12 years later! Time truly flies. lol

Tutoring Experience

I have been living and working in Manchester (UK) for 12 years now, so although I still have a Spanish accent when talking in English, I am fully integrated, knows a lot of English grammar, and understand the way of life here in the UK and its heritage, which allows me to relate any Spanish subject with its English counterpart.

Whichever is your goal I am here to assist you and help you improve your Spanish, from those with no knowledge of the language at all to those with a proficiency level. Whether you want to focus on grammar to pass an exam, learn specific vocabulary for your business or improve your skills and fluency in conversation for when you go on holidays to Spain or South America, there is always a specific way to learn and I am here to assist you.

Although grammar is very important and you will have to work that at home too, my focus is teaching through conversation because is the best way to get your brain to struggle and push you in your learning curve. We will start each lesson with a bit of grammar and from there we will jump to apply it in real scenarios.
