Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching for 7 years in boroughs including Tower Hamlets, Redbridge and Dagenham. I have previously been a deputy head of department for English and currently I am the head of English in an inner London school.
Tutoring Approach
I am calm and patient, I prefer to take my time with students and consolidate knowledge and skills. My approach does not include a ‘rush rush approach’ rather I aim to coach students through thought provoking questions. I use a range of methods like live modelling, low stakes quiz and live marking.
