Personal Description: I have played 5-String Banjo for over 20 years. I have played and toured the instrument around most of Europe. I enjoy playing bluegrass, Irish, folk and any "good music". I play with a combination of Scruggs, Melodic and Single-string styles.

Tutoring Experience: I have helped start a number of students off on the banjo. I have been encouraged to offer lessons due to the real difficulty in finding banjo teachers in the South West of England. I also have many years of experience teaching adults in other disciplines as part of my day job.

Tutoring Approach: Like any lessons, it should be fun. I can introduce you to the instrument and get you off the ground, or I can work with you to improve your playing and sharpen up your technique. Whatever your need, we can work together to get you progressing fast.
