Personal Description: I have taught the Piano for a number of years - in between raising my three children. I have recently moved up here from Milton Keynes where I had a large number of students - of ALL ages!

Tutoring Experience: I started learning the Piano when i was nine years old - doing both practical and theory which i believe go hand in hand. I worked my way through the grades up to grade 7. During those young years my teacher trained me to teach - and that has brought me to where i am today!

Tutoring Approach: Firstly and most importantly,I believe that learning should be fun-if a child or adult comes to the lesson dreading it ,then i am doing something wrong!
However - of course - we all want to see progress - and this happens when the student is enjoying what they are doing/playing -building confidence - and therefore PRACTISING!
I am a very warm and friendly person , having taught a child who was Dyslexic - also had a few students with learning difficulties in other areas - I am also very patient and strongly believe that everybody learns at a different pace - as long as they are enjoying the learning experience then we are on the right track.

Qualifications:

• Grades 1-7 practical and Theory - A.B.R.S.M
