Personal Description: With over 25 years experience in playing the bagpipes, and having previously served as a piper in the army, events undertaken include a musical tour of North America (twice), the Edinburgh military tattoo 3 times, and the hand over of Hong Kong in 1997. Andrew has played the pipes all over the world and as well as playing for the Queen and other members of the Royal household, he has also played for other Royal families and heads of state.

During mi time in the army I passed the army class 1 pipers course and was recommended to attend the Pipe Majors course. I am currently the Pipe Major of the Chorley Pipe Band and have been a Pipe Major since 1998.

Tutoring Experience: I have been tutoring bagpipes since 1998. I teach all ages, and cover areas from Warrington to Preston.

Many of my students have gone on to win prizes in competition.

I am currently teaching the Pipe band of 70 Squadron Air cadets in Warrington with all students starting with no proir experience.

Tutoring Approach: Lessons are conducted using a specially formulated, structured course.

Initial lessons will be one to one and then progress to group work.

Lessons are held on 3 days of the week at two locations.
