Personal Description: Hi! I am a recent graduate in Classics from Oxford University and am offering tuition in both Latin and Classical Greek to any level, from complete beginners to university students. I also have considerable experience of Biblical Greek, and would be very happy to tutor theology sudents or anyone else interested in learning to read the New Testament in the original!

I am a qualified EFL teacher with experience of teaching English as a foreign language at different levels, and would love to hear from non-native speakers who want to attain a high level of the language, written or spoken, whether for academic, business or social purposes. I also hold A-levels in Maths and Further Maths, and will tutor up to GCSE/Standards level, and possibly beyond if requested.

I am enthusiastic about all my subjects, but am also a patient tutor who will go at your pace. I love to see people achieving what they want to in education, and hope to be a part of that for you.

Teaching Experience: I am currently employed as an EFL tutor, and have previously tutored in both Latin and Greek up to Advanced Higher/A-level. As an EFL teacher I gained experience teaching English as a foreign language to students of a variety of ages and nationalities, adapting lessons and teaching methods to individual needs.

Teaching Approach: I firmly believe that people learn in different ways, and that tutoring methods have to be adapted to the individual. I expect students to be communicative about what they find difficult or interesting, so that we can work together on the particular areas relevant to the student in a way that is enjoyable. Enthusiasm for the subject is an essential quality in a tutor and makes lessons far more interesting and rewarding for both parties.
