Personal Description: I am a teacher of ICT at a mixed comprehensive secondary school. I have been teaching for over 8 years. I am also an examiner and a moderator for two of the main exam boards.

I teach pupils of 11 years of age to pupils 19 years of age, therefore cover Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5.

I am also the BTEC Co-ordinator, moderator/examiner for a well known exam board and an visiting moderator for another well known exam board.

Training Experience: I have experience of teaching on a number of ICT courses which include GNVQ, AVCE, DiDA, GCSE, Applied GCE, BTEC First, BTEC National, Key Skills and Functional Skills.

Main topics which I teach are: Graphics using Serif software and Fireworks, Animation using Flash, Spreadsheets, Publishing, Project Managment, Multimedia, Website Development, E-Commerce, ICT and Businesses, Hardware and Software.

Training Approach: 1. Identify the needs through intitial assessment
2. Draw up an action plan to ensure the training needs are met
3. Provide the necessary training/tutoring
4. Monitor and assess the progress
5. Amend the action plan to take into account the progress and any issues if any
