United States of America) and wondered if you meant to find our
United States of America site?We will e-mail you when a prospective client requests to hear from you and invite you to log in to your member area and respond to the request as soon as possible. Please note that IT trainers who do not respond to clients (neither accept or decline) will have their profiles suspended so other trainers can benefit from the opportunities.
Once the client has accepted your offer of training we will send you their contact details so you can call and arrange a first lesson. We would recommend acting on this quickly.
Once you have registered you can log in at any time to alter your profile or fees through your member's area.
You can pay by Paypal or by credit/debit card online. We will e-mail you monthly to request payment when it is due.
After one month we invite clients to create a brief comment about their IT trainer. We recognise that the more good feedback you receive as a trainer, the more enquiries you are likely to attract. Of course, as a trainer you can also reply to and approve feedback.
Most clients put a lot of thought into choosing their trainer so are unlikely to cancel before training commences. The usual reason for changing their mind is that the IT trainer has left a long period of time between receiving the client's contact details and initiating training which means the client becomes anxious and looks elsewhere. Please ask your client to contact us if this occurs.
No, given the majority of clients are likely to be over 18, though it helps to have references available for clients to see.
First IT trainers come from all walks of life: many are professional trainers, some are academics, and occasionally some are students or retired professionals. Different clients look for different qualities and backgrounds in their trainers, which is why the ability to browse trainers is so attractive to clients. Browse the profiles of other trainers in your area if you are considering registering as an IT trainer.
No, all trainers work on a self-employed basis.
Whilst we don't object, we would recommend checking the terms of your visa to ensure you are allowed to work on a self-employed basis.
