Personal Description: NCTJ qualified I have worked in the newsroom environment and in corporate publishing as a writer, editor and sub editor. In addition to print media, I work closely with clients generating editorial for websites and keyword rich text for search engine and online PR optimisation. I have an industry award for feature writing (British Association of Communicators in Business).

Training Specialisms: In the newspaper environment I have been involved in contributing to the training programmes of journalists and work experience students. In the corporate domain training has largely been on a one-to-one basis. Similarly, PR agency assignments have involved assisting junior staff to 'get-up-to-steam' with press release and feature writing. Currently working with a digital training provider on coursework modules for Online PR.

Training Methods: Initially assess the objectives of the company and individuals and appraise the level of work currently produced. Identify where, realistically, the bar can be set and to work forward within an agreed timescale. I can work with individuals or small groups.

Qualifications:

• Degree level (BA Social Science), CAM - Media and Public Relations
• HTML, InDesign, Quark XPress and DreamWeaver competent
