Personal Description: I am an actor with experience in stage, film and tv work. I am passionate about teaching dramatic arts both live and recorded forms. I am of Greek origin and speak the language fluently, this includes the classics.
In addition to the dramatic arts I am keen to travel, experience new cultures, reading and health and fitness.
I believe an actor should have a good balance between physical and mental health and that one does not work to its full potential without the other.
Teaching Experience: I have six years experience in teaching this includes on a one to one and group basis. I have directed plays for community theatre groups which includes primary and secondary schools throughout London. I am at present tutoring prospective students for drama school acceptance level this includes working on classical and modern text.
Teaching Approach: I believe in breaking down texts and actions to their simpliest forms and systematically building up, therefore always having an understanding of the actions at hand.
I try to establish a physical and mental connection from the begining and then treat as a building block therefore justifying each action both verbal and physical.
I understand what is expected by assessors and casting directors within the industry and the difference between forcing an action and letting it flow naturally which is the desired result.
