Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Shah and I am a qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher, currently teaching in a State school in Takapuna, Auckland. I have a double major: Masters in Mathematics & Education.
I love travelling and have traveled/stayed in more than 15 countries, experiencing diverse cultures and learning different languages at the same time.

Teaching is my passion. Students find my techniques very easy to understand and thereby excel in their exams. I use concepts which are very easy to relate to. No need to worry about MATH.

From Tanya (5/5): Year 10 - Mr Shah has tutored my son for 1.5 months so far, due to his failing Math grades. After only 1 1/2 months of tutoring, once a week, my son was pleased to come home to show me his pass in his Year 10 EOY report (4 questions - two answered at Merit level, two achieved).
Mr Shah helps with son's confidence in Maths also which helps him in class also.
Would absolutely recommend and will continue next year also.

From Olya (5/5): I am in the process of studying for the NZ Defence Force aptitude tests, so the high school maths revision was quite daunting for me, as high school was a while ago! :) Shah has a very personal approach and makes you feel comfortable straight away, making the learning process fun, using concepts or examples that you can relate to. He has been very flexible and understanding of my situation and has tailored our sessions to focus on my requirements. Highly recommend this tutor!
